"Cauterization is a viable method. Cody used his knowledge and primitive skills to build a shelter for us, we set up 3 fires for signaling, we made paddles that we can use to light the fires with and to signal with. All of those are effective ways to signal for rescue if you need out of a situation." (Dave)
